We should do the right thing simple because it is the right thing to do. It shouldn't be for recognition, for getting likes on Instagram, for impressing someone, for collecting favors. Doing the right thing shouldn't be followed by getting something else in return.

A good deed is a good deed. It's an end in itself.

It is duty.
