What you know should be followed by action.
All the lessons from books and podcasts—apply them in your life. Practice them. Only then can you enjoy the rewards, and only then can you further improve upon them.
All the knowledge and skills you've studied—apply them in your work. Look for ways to practice them. To test them. So that you can find out what works and what doesn't. So that you get objective, external validation or you get feedback on how you can improve. Only then can you sharpen those skills. Only then can you master your craft. Only then can you become an expert, and teach others.
We learn a lot from what we read, what we watch, what we listen to. But it is only through experience that we can deepen that knowledge, add our own insight to it, and continuously get better.
When applied, only then will knowledge bear fruit.
