Giving

There's something about giving that warms the heart. To see the joy and gratitude of other people—in their eyes, in their smiles, in the words they speak, and in the words they don't.

It's a win-win, but I'd say the act of giving benefits the giver more than the receiver. The intangible rewards outweigh the material gifts.

If people learn to give more, to let go of excesses and share what else they can, we'd be a much happier society. We'd all be a little better off.
