Life's Not Fair

We were taught to follow the rules. But that alone won't be rewarded.

The world is dominated by those aggressive enough to take their share. They demand—whether or not their methods are within legal, social, or moral rules.

So while it's right to follow rules, that's not enough. We won't get what we want by simply doing that. Life's not fair.

We must understand the consequences of each action. We must think about the desires of the people around us and how they would react to our decisions. We must act with deeper intent, the domino of events carefully planned, and our goal waiting to happen at the end.

If we want to seize opportunities, accomplishments, and rewards, we must dance with the other players. Maneuvering and orchestrating.
