Little Actions Grow
Take notice of the little things. Be intentional even of your smallest actions.
They might seem insignificant at first, but they can easily compound. They can grow quickly into bigger actions that lead to bigger consequences.
A small lie can lead to many small lies, and then to bigger ones. It starts with being comfortable with one small lie. And unnoticed, that comfort and complacency grows. Until big lies aren't a big deal anymore. Until they no longer affect the conscience. Until they become normal.
Submitting to impulse once, choosing short-term pleasure once, letting go of discipline once—rarely are they not followed with the same actions.
It's the first dot in a white canvas that renders it impure.
